some of you have told me that you’re praying daily for my support – thanks!

I emailed everybody this morning asking for concentrated prayer, and by the time I got to work a friend had emailed me notice of a new monthly pledge. After work I had another email from a cousin with a monthly pledge. Also, I received three encouraging emails from folks who’re praying with me for God to provide.

These may seem little, but receiving two pledges and three encouraging emails the same day I emailed everyone is a HUGE encouragement: thanks, folks!

By the way, whoever pledges the next $25.99 per month (ok, call it $26 to make it even, but then you may as well round up to $30) will put my support at the 50% mark. Any takers?

There’s been a lot going on recently – a project is wrapping up at my engineering job, and I mentioned I’ll be asking you to mobilize specific, daily prayer that I’ll reach 80% support by November 15th, so I can register for Pre-Field training in January.

Well, some of you are already praying, and God is already answering, even before I’ve sent out my email asking for prayer: a church and an individual have both pledged generously: I’ve received 49% of my monthly support, and only need $1,150 per month in new pledges to reach 80% by Nov. 15th.   I’ve received nearly two-thirds of my one-time support as well.  So thank you for praying, and please continue.

I’m excited to see how God will answer our prayers! All wealth and honor are his, and if he desires me to serve in Kiev, he will provide–Pray with me.

I’m wrapping up my lunch break. I’ve just had a call with my MTW support raising coach, and she and I agreed that I’ve got to keep working and praying for God to confirm my call to Kiev by moving his people’s hearts to give generously. I need full support by the end of the year, but I also need 80% of my monthly pledges in by November 15th to register for my final mandatory training in January.

After our phone call, I checked and discovered a new $50/month pledge from a friend I met with a few weeks ago: I’ve now received 36% of my monthly support.

Praise God with me! Keep praying if you’ve already pledged or given! Please pledge monthly if you’re able.
