These days my support raising work feels like a countdown to April 15th. Will God work through your praying and pledging to supply 60% of my monthly support before that Pre-Field training registration deadline?
Little things have been big encouragements for me, providential things like running into a friend at my local coffee shop who says, “call us and lets get together soon; my wife and I are interested in supporting you.” I asked him if we could meet next week, or at least before the 15th, and he said that would work best for them, as they’ll be leaving town on the 14th. I’m so very thankful that God really does work through prayer.
Thanks for praying friends. Please pray, and give, as you are able and as you desire in your heart before the Lord.
The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work. As it is written,
“He has distributed freely, he has given to the poor;
his righteousness endures forever.”
